Sub: Meeting of SRI ANNA HAZARE at his village

It was one of the most memorable meet and visit of my life and so far the three comrades who met dear ANNA at ralegan siddhi (native) Relegan siddhi is a beautiful village about 86km from pune and is the native village of the hero ANNA HAZARE

ANNA dedicated himself to this village over the last 30years after the long stint in the indian army ; He escaped hurt from a major attack on his vehicle which left all the soldiers dead instantly

He frequently thought that there should be a great purpose behind the new lease of life - which made him to get back to his roots and made him what he is today to this great Nation

Today the village looks self sufficient in all respects with good infrastructure and people happy-brimming with confidence and pride over its transformation

First we met him in a beautiful village Temple where he stays in a room forever -as he came on a sparkling white and a Gandhi cap we were struck by his personality chistled over the long years in practical wisdom and absolute dedication to the greater cause.

After initial greetings he asked us to meet him in the nearby Padmavathy Temple which had a very huge Banyan tree ,a big stage and an office cum guesthouse complex-all very well created around the temple resembling a modern Ashram

People and students were already there in hundreds and continuously pouring in to see the icon and hear him speak

The 15minutes of personal audience that ZAHIR, MURALI, CHANDRU and I (HARIHARAN) had with him are the most beautiful moments of our life,and so felt the graduate driver who drove us all the way from Pune and back.

After hearing our briefing ,he readily accepted to visit Chennai tentatively on 19th , and aftrer taking the autograph of him in the ' ANNA ' Book that we carried , we came out in jublience to hear him address the gathering of young students and others -listening to him in rapt attention .They would not have turned their heads for anyone else- all the heroes of the TINSEL World even if they have come together

The Country looked strong and bright when I SAW IT FROM THIS HERO'S PLACE . JAI HIND.

Its a great job well done. Everything fell in place up to the dinner meet and photo session with anna. Jhahir and his excellent team leaders down to every volunteergave their best to make things come true. Inspite of press being indifferent people came in good numbers to cross 10,000. Now we all know how to organize big events. Next time it would be still better.

With this good note i congratulate every one and request all my comrades to air only positive things in the mail, face book and even over phone and discuss the short comings, negative thingsonly in the review meeting we shall be having shortly.

SUCH A DISCIPLINE IS BOUND TO CONSOLIDATE AND STRENGTHEN IAC-CHENNAI FURTHER.

My only depressed thing is, during Annaji's valuable speach there was a chaos in some group of people. Because of language problem. Sentence by sentence translation for Annaji should be organized from the beginning itself.

Todays Annaji's address has been successful in Chennai. First of all we have to thank the Rain God. Because through out the day, the climate was cloudy. So volunteers completed their work tirelessly. Thanks to Rain God...! Volunteers pat yourself on your back...!!
