In the college days - at CEG, very soon I became popular with Seniors as I faced the ragging with a sense of Sportiveness and humour.

One afternoon, a set of Seniors came to the class after lunch and called for my name. When I got up they came to me and said, will you come with us - we would like to rag you. I glanced at my friends around and left with them. The Group Leader Mr Jaikumar, then captain of CEG hockey team went on to become one of my best friends among the seniors.
