Thiru Arulprakasa Ramalinga Adigalar Alias "Valalar" The great saint from Tamilnadu laid down many principles for the peaceful world. Among His principles, "Eradication of Hunger" is an important one. Next to food, comes education to poor.

Hariharan is regularly supporting this Trust's activities both monitorily as well as by participating / encouraging periodically.

The Trust Activities

Thavathiru Sathish Adigalar established Aruljothi Educational Trust. In the year 2002 the trust started Nursery and Primary School called Aruljothi Gurukula Padasalai at Light House Kuppam in the Pazhaverkadu Area in Ponneri Taluk near Chennai city. The entire village is engaged in fishing which is the only source of their livelyhood. In the beginning only 20 children are joined in this school and now more than 500 students are studying upto 8th Std.

The Salient Features Of The School Are As Follows:

1. Everyday free food is being given to all the students.

2. Free books and Note books are issued to all the students.

3. Every year free Uniforms is issued.

4. All the students are provided free transport facility.

All The Students Are Being Taught In English Medium Under Matriculation Syllabus.
